SCALP NEUTRALISANT ACIDE is a post-stripping or post-degreasing neutralising product, used in preparation for enamelling. It can also be used for neutralising marks left by alkaline strippers, soda or potassium.
SCALP NEUTRALISANT ACIDE must be 5-15% diluted before use and being added to an ambient-temperature dipping bath. Once filled, the parts needing stripping must be immersed in the bath for several minutes to a few hours. The contact time varies depending on the type of substrates being stripped. In practice, a few minutes are sufficient for the complete and deep neutralising of non-porous substrates. For wood however, it is recommended to wait 1 to several hours.
The bath should be kept clean and free of basic traces. It is better to renew the bath as soon as a drop in activity is observed.
Step 1
SCALP NEUTRALISANT ACIDE must be 5-15% diluted.
Step 2
Soak the parts to be neutralised in the ambient-temperature bath.
Step 3
Wait a few minutes to a few hours for it to work, depending on the type of substrate being treated.
Step 4
Take the parts out of the bath and rinse with water.
